Assistant Fleet Manager Addison Lee Plc London- Euston- NW1 9am-6pm Circa £32,500 P/A (benefits to be determined) A fantastic new opportunity has arisen for an all rounder with demonstrable experience within the fleet business to work as an Assistant Fleet Manager within Addison Lee’s prestigious head office based in North London. The main function of the role is to provide support to Addison Lee’s Fleet Manager. Addison Lee was established in 1975 and is today the market leader in moving people and parcels in London. As well as London's largest minicab fleet, we also offer courier services, coach travel, taxy-bikes and international deliveries, making us one of Europe's leading ground transportation companies. We use the latest technology including system orientated architecture and we have also recently won the
prestigious environmental award, The Energy Saving Trust’s Fleet Hero award for large fleets.
As well as dealing with vehicle issues, you will assist the Fleet Manager with general administration and reporting. This role will involve working alongside the existing fleet administration team and assisting them with their work, as well as providing cover during staff absence. Additionally, you will oversee all the operational repair centres affiliated with the fleet department, oversee the parts/ purchasing department and liaise with all departments within Addison Lee. The right person for this role will have excellent communication skills, administrative skills and high computer literacy. Knowledge of vehicles and experience in vehicle warranty is absolutely paramount and mechanical experience is also preferred. Personality is key to this position, as we are seeking an individual who is professional, approachable, friendly, positive and diplomatic. As this is a senior position within the company, the successful candidate will have the proven ability to lead, motivate and mentor members of the department.
