Quality Assurance
As a result of our commitment to achieving the highest standards of employee training, health and safety and client care, and our dedication to managing our impact on the environment, Addison Lee has the following Quality Assurance standards:
Investors in People

Investors in People recognise that organisations use different means to achieve success through their people, and as such it helps us improve the way we work. We are required to meet the same criteria as other organisations, but the IIP recognises that we will meet them in our own way. It does not prescribe any one method but provides a framework to help us find the most suitable means for achieving success through our staff.
ISO 9001-2000

This is an internationally recognised certification, which denotes a quality company and proves that a company is conforming with all relevant legislation and best practice. With this standard in place, our new and existing customers can be confident beyond doubt that their particular quality requirements are clearly understood and being promptly and efficiently handled. This is why Addison Lee PLC has an ISO 9001 quality management system in place.
ISO 14001

Addison Lee gained ISO 14001 in 2007. This accreditation is by far the most proven way for companies to establish a positive environmental commitment. In addressing and implementing this worldwide EMS standard we have a good framework to manage our impact on the environment.
ISO 14001 sets out how you can establish, document and maintain an effective EMS which will demonstrate to customers and other interested parties that we are committed to controlling and reducing the impacts on the environment.
The EMS is part of the described organisational commitment and allows us to:
- Develop an environmental policy
- Identify environmental aspects and their associated impacts
- Establish relevant legal and regulatory requirements
- Implement a documented EMS, which would include elements of training, operational controls and dealing with emergencies
- Monitor and measure operational activities relevant to the environment
- Regular review of the EMS to ensure its continuing effectiveness and suitability.
Environmental Statement 2007
This is our annual statement of our environmental performance, which gives both employees and clients an overview of Addison Lee PLC’s environmental performance over the past 12 months.
Environmental Verification Report 2007
Addison Lee PLC recognises its duty to have an external audit of our environmental statement to give our clients the confidence that not only do we say we care about the environment and have an effective environmental management system, but that we use and value it as a core a part of our business plan.
ISO 18001, Health & Safety Policy
Addison Lee PLC has been using the ISO 18001 standard for its health and safety management system and we are now in the final process of achieving this accreditation.
OHSAS 18001:2004 is an auditable occupational health and safety system standard developed by approximately a dozen registration and standards producing bodies. It was developed to address a desire by many organisations on a global scale to have some type of standardised occupational health and safety standard to use and be registered or certified to.
Health & Safety Award (British Safety Council)
This was given to Addison Lee by the BSC to certify that:
"Addison Lee PLC as a member of the British Safety Council is committed to working towards Health, Safety and Environmental best practice."
Information Commissioners Office
As well as the above we are registered with the Information Commissioners Office for the whole company’s data management system, which gives our clients the confidence of our compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.
