Addison Lee was the first minicab company to introduce a free text messaging service for all of our passengers.

Our internally managed SMS system is fully automated and is an integral part of our customer strategy - our passengers still tell us it is one of their favourite features of our service.

Once your booking is confirmed and your car is on its way; we will send you a text which includes your job reference number, the car make and model, registration number and driver's mobile number.

If paying by cash or credit card, the message will also include the quote for your journey.

As soon as your car has arrived at your pick-up point, you will receive a second text informing you. Should you not meet the vehicle for any reason, after a short waiting time, we will connect the driver with your phone so they can let you know that they are waiting outside.

Addison Lee will never pass your phone number directly to a driver.
