Addison Lee and NSPCC

This Christmas we partnered with the UK’s leading children’s charity the NSPCC as part of their ‘Light Up Christmas For Children’ campaign.

If you’re an app user, you may have noticed our car icons changed to NSPCC-branded sleighs over the Christmas period. We are also donating £1 for every in-app car booking made by selected corporate partners over the Christmas period* with a maximum donation of £75,000.

To further raise awareness of the campaign, we added NSPCC branding to 40 of our courier vans, and two vans also undertook a 500* mile round-trip from the NSPCC’s head office in London to deliver Christmas presents to children in Liverpool and Blackpool.

The money raised will help pay for services such as Childline, which operates 24/7 365 days of the year – including Christmas Day – providing help and advice whenever young people need it.

Claire Hoyle, Head of Partnerships at the NSPCC said: “Christmas should be the most special time of the year for children, but, for many, it can be a dark and lonely time.

“For Addison Lee to wholeheartedly support our Light up Christmas for Children campaign shows the true meaning of Christmas spirit.”

The partnership will run from 5th December until 8th January 2018, with 100% of donations going to the NSPCC’s ‘Light up Christmas for Children’ campaign. For more information, please visit: https://www.nspcc.org.uk/
