Addison Lee Launches Push For 1,000 New Drivers To Meet Demand
Addison Lee Group, the world’s leading managed ground transportation provider, has launched a campaign as it seeks to work with around 1,000 new drivers to meet growing customer demand across the business.
Following recent contract wins, international expansion and an increase in business and consumer demand driven by premium service and competitive pricing, Addison Lee is looking to work with additional drivers for its’ Addison Lee and Tristar businesses in London, Manchester and Luton. The new drivers would mean that Addison Lee’s London business has over 4450 driver partners out of a total of 4550.
Andy Boland, Addison Lee’s Chief Executive, said: “With demand growing and Christmas approaching, Addison Lee wants to add to the pool of talented drivers providing our passengers with a premium service.”
He added: “With our new driver deal and financial incentives to meet customer demand, I’m confident that Addison Lee drivers can enjoy a happy holiday season.”
Only one out of three candidates is selected to be an Addison Lee driver. Successful candidates are PCO-licensed, and receive training on London knowledge before they begin driving. Addison Lee vehicles complete 30,000 journeys a day in London, supporting Londoners as they move around the capital.
The company is looking to work with 900 new drivers for the Addison Lee fleet, as well as 100 executive chauffeur drivers to support the Tristar team. Facebook, digital and referrals will be used for the campaign.
