DRIVE25 Vaccination
20th January 2021

Vaccination Drive

2021 hasn’t started the way everyone would have hoped, but the roll out of vaccinations across the country has given hope that we can get things back to normal this year. Throughout the pandemic, Addison Lee has been committed to supporting the NHS and key workers who are working tirelessly to keep us safe.

That’s why we are launching our Vaccination Drive. We pledge to support the vaccination rollout across London by offering discounted rides to and from major vaccination hubs which have recently opened – you can find the addresses below.

Anyone travelling to or from the major vaccination hubs can use the code DRIVE25 to claim 25% off their ride. This is not only for people who want to get to their appointment safely and securely, but also the NHS staff and volunteers who are travelling every day. We have not placed a limit on how often this code can be used.

You can book with Addison Lee using the app, website and also on the phone. Our UK based customer service centre is open 24 hours a day and is ready to help with any issues. Remember you can also book a car for someone else if you would like to make sure they get to their destination safely and in comfort.

We understand that not everyone feels safe using public transport and at this stage many people receiving the vaccine are vulnerable. They need that extra level of reassurance that they can travel to and from the vaccination centres in a safe and secure way.  Since last spring, our Safer Journey Initiative has been industry leading in delivering COVID-secure measures for the public. This includes:

  • Safety screens in our entire MPV fleet
  • PPE for all of our drivers
  • Social distancing in our seven-seater vehicles
  • Cleaning of common touch points after every journey
  • Our cars are all regularly inspected and are deep cleaned up to 3 times a week

The Vaccination Drive will continue over the coming months, helping the government reach its targets for the critical first phase of vaccinations, while also providing ongoing support as the programme is rolled out to the wider population.

We all want to get through this lockdown in the safest possible way and we hope that our support for the vaccination programme will inch us a little closer to that goal.
