Tube strike
6th January 2017

Make sure you are ready for the Tube strike

TFL staff in the RMT and TSSA unions are planning a strike for 24 hours from 18:00 on Sunday 8th January. So far the strike is scheduled to go ahead and if it does go ahead rail services will be severely disrupted from Sunday evening until the end of service on Monday 9 January.

Here at Addison Lee we want to make sure that you continue to receive the service that we pride ourselves on. We will be providing our drivers with job bonuses to ensure that we keep up with the increased demand and help keep London moving.

We advise all to pre-book your cars if possible as we are expecting to be in high demand and we would not want you to experience any delays.

Affected areas:

There is expected to be no service on:

  • the whole of the Victoria line
  • the North Acton to West Ruislip branch of the Central line
  • the Waterloo and City line
  • the Piccadilly line serving Heathrow terminals 4 & 5

Please keep in mind that the London over ground is expected to operate normally however, busier than usual as commuters will be considering alternative routes.
