Proud to Partner with Pride

Once again we are proud to announce ourselves as an official partner of Pride in London. We are excited to be working with Pride again this year, as part of the partnership we will be providing a range of transport services to the Pride in London Organising Committee, and taking part in the Pride parade. We will also have a special promo on offer in which Pride will receive £5 for every use.

As always this is much more than just a partnership, this year marks 50 years since since Parliament first voted to legalise homosexuality in the UK. We in turn have our part to play, we launched our driver diploma program in 2012. The aim of the bespoke accredited training is to support professional development of our drivers, but more so equip to them with the skills they require to provide the highest level of service as a professional Private Hire Driver. Our in-house driver training incorporates robust equality training, with participants shown the hard-hitting Love has no labels here – showing that we are all the same, regardless of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, race, religion or belief, sex,  sexual orientation or pregnancy and maternity.

  We care about diversity at Addison Lee and are a proud member of the Stonewall ‘Diversity Champions’ scheme. As a Diversity Champion, Addison Lee has access to best practice sharing, networking opportunities and research from a wide range of organisations. We are working with Stonewall to promote diversity and improve both our service for the LGBT community.

  The Addison Lee Diploma is accredited by People 1st who are the Sector Skills Council for Travel, Tourism & Transport. They have a reputation for industry-defining intelligence and delivery. The quality accreditation was achieved by People 1st sending a team of inspectors to review Addison Lee’s training materials, interviewing the trainers extensively, checking their credentials and observing the training delivery. The Addison Lee Diploma has just been re-accredited for another three years.

• ROSPA

  We have an on going commitment to giving you the best service. All our drivers undergo thorough training including RoSPA (Royal Society for the Prevention of Accidents) risk assessments. This ensures that we provide the highest level of professional competence and service at all times.
