If you were out and about on the streets of London during the Rugby World Cup chances are that you saw one of our #RugLee cars on the road. We gave Londoners the chance to spot, snap and win with the #RugLee and others, who just wanted to support, the chance to pick their team and win. We didn’t quite know what to expect with the campaign all that we knew was that we were excited.
In the end it was an overwhelming success. The 20 cars did over 5,000 journeys covering a total 44 408 miles (71 468km) which is the distance from London to South Africa more than 5 times.
On social we had an amazing response. On Twitter alone there were 1900 posts using the hashtag #RugLee with a Reach of 3 211 436 and overall Impressions of 11 914 900. Below you get a chance to see a behind the scenes look into what it took to get the campaign going. Enjoy!
