Account Executive – Distribution

MAIN FUNCTION OF THE ROLE

Your primary role will be to identify and bring to life revenue opportunities from within the overall Distribution client portfolio. The Distribution team work with all of our external partners such TMC’s (Travel Management Companies). You will be tasked with promoting client spend across the whole range of Addison Lee Group solutions through outbound and inbound sales activity.

The successful candidate will be a tenacious relationship builder and problem solver, taking responsibility for supporting an extensive account base. The position will suit an individual with a fervent interest in the world of business coupled with a strong desire to excel within a commercial role.

This is an office-based role in our new HQ in Paddington.

Main Duties…

  • Leading point of contact to the Distribution Account portfolio working with and supporting Distribution Global Account Managers
  • Maintain regular communication with key clients to enable the Account Managers to be closing revenue opportunities
  • Creating and scheduling regular telephony / skype review meetings with clients
  • Identify, create and grow the contact database across the portfolio
  • Challenge customers view point where applicable
  • Create and build strong relationships across customer base
  • Carry out regular reporting on client performance and feedback to the wider team
  • Ensure that client expectations are met, coordinating resolution of any escalation of service issues and system service failures

Skills and Experience Required…

  • Ability to interact with and influence people at all levels within client organisations is critical
  • Self-motivated with the drive to succeed in a fast-paced commercial role
  • You will be results orientated, with the ability to track progress against goals set
  • Able to work well as part of a high performing team as well and independently
  • Excellent communication skills coupled with the ability to negotiate and influence effectively
  • Strong organisational skills, along with the ability to prioritise workload accordingly
  • Salesforce experience preferred but not essential
