We are hiring for Airport Meet and Greet staff to join our new team at Manchester Airport. The Airport Meet and Greet (M&G) team are those warm and friendly individuals you may have seen at the airport, who are responsible for the meeting and greeting of arriving passengers. As our Meet and Greet, you will be coordinating the operations and vehicles, to ensure the smooth transition of inbound passengers within the Airport. Due to the nature of our business, our M&G are sometimes required to work at other locations or events as required from time to time. The M&G is a key customer facing role that requires the position holder to carry out a variety of operational tasks; and in addition to this you must be flexible and able to amend your working hours to suit the business needs.
This is a part time position that operates on a split shift basis of 6 on 3 off. From 7am to 1pm and 6pm to 8:30pm.
This role would ideally suit someone who is either in the early stages of their career or someone who requires part time hours around care responsibilities or study. You will have excellent people skills and will be the kind of person who is always willing to go the extra mile to demonstrate the commitment to service that we are known for. To be considered for this role you will ideally have 1-years experience gained in a customer service role as well as good geographical knowledge of the UK. A friendly disposition, confidence and good communication skills are essential attributes for this role; as well as the ability to work under pressure and adapt to change.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Continuous and clear communication with stakeholders and passengers.
• Ensuring that passengers are met by the correct chauffeur.
• Maintaining effective and polite communications with the chauffeurs
• Monitoring the status of flights and communicating updates as necessary
• Tracking chauffeurs and planning carefully for the arrival of flights
