New Business Executive

Role Summary:

Due to growth in our SME portfolio of clients, Addison Lee is looking to expand our business development team with the recruitment of a New Business Executive. The successful candidate will utilise our Salesforce CRM package and all available Social and Business Networking websites to make outbound sales calls to generate new business and book appointments to discuss Addison Lee’s service.

Main Duties

  • Making outbound sales calls to potential Addison Lee customers
  • Developing profitable business from new customers
  • Nurturing cold leads into sales
  • Arranging appointments to close future business with clients, attend a minimum of three appointments per week
  • Contacting and reactivating lapsed customers
  • Developing relationships to retain account
  • Using social networking tools to create new business and receive information relevant to future business
  • Making calls to Businesses throughout the UK and closing the leads that have been generated
  • Cross-selling and promoting all the services that Addison Lee offers within the first six months of opening a new account
  • Researching new business opportunities
  • Listening to customer requirements to successfully close sales
  • Challenging any objections with a view of getting customers to buy
  • Communicating and adapting to a variety of customers from diverse backgrounds

Desired Skills and Experience

  • We are seeking a long term salesperson with a proven track record in generating new B2B business/revenue
  • Experience of presenting to clients both over the phone and also in person
  • Previous experience successfully working towards KPIs and targets
  • An ability to organise and prioritise your workload (including scheduling of calls and meetings)
  • The confidence and business acumen to build strong customer relationships
  • Impeccable telephone manner and written communication skills
