We are looking for a Parts Advisor to assist in the running of our parts department. You will be managing stock levels and parts costs, whilst also ordering, issuing and reconciling stock.
You will be working a week A and B rota.
(Week – A Monday to Friday, 14.30pm to 23.00pm, 40 hours) and (Week B – Monday to Friday 14.30pm to 23.00pm and Saturday 8am to 16.30pm, 48 hours)
The Salary for this position is £25,300 per annum, plus a £2000 shift allowance.
The ideal candidate will come with a strong knowledge and background within Vehicle and maintenance parts. You will have commercial experience within an automotive environment and be a proficient user of Microsoft office and stock inventory management systems.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Order, receive, allocate and return parts
- Ensure parts are correctly ordered to specification and checked on arrival
- Follow up with suppliers and workshop team on progress of parts and prices
- Stock control, review stock levels and daily allocation checks
- Maintain and monitor parts inventory
