ADDISON LEE COMPLETES ACQUISITION OF BLACK TAXI OPERATOR COMCAB
I’m pleased to say that Addison Lee has now completed the acquisition of ComCab London, CityFleet and Flightlink. Adding the taxi trade’s expertise and know-how to the business couldn’t be more welcome – or timelier.
With restrictions set to lift shortly, we’re going to see businesses travel again – to the office, for business trips, for meetings – and there’s going to be a huge opportunity for a premium branded, one stop shop combination of Taxis, Private Hire and also Courier.
Both Addison Lee and ComCab are synonymous with safety and quality and by bringing our organisations together we can present a compelling offer to new and existing customers in a way that no other player in the London market can. And it’s not just safety – on quality of our drivers, electrification programmes, vehicles, the environment – we lead the market.
We will be keeping the ComCab brand as it stands for quality and resonates with business customers. We’ll certainly look at ways we can bring it together with Addison Lee so you can book private hire, taxi, and courier in one place, but that’s for further down the line.
For the time being, the experiences for our key audiences – customers will continue to book with Addison Lee and ComCab as they always have, and we’ll provide the same high-quality offer to drivers – will be the same but our intention with the new business is to use the ComCab acquisition to provide the best passenger and courier experience in London.
As we have done for the last 45 years, with our new ComCab colleagues, we look forward to serving the capital ALTogether
