Established in 1975, Addison Lee has revolutionised the private hire industry and today enjoys an unrivalled reputation for moving people and parcels in London. With a fleet of over 2,000 spacious people carriers fitted with air-conditioning and satellite navigation as standard, we are over 5 times greater in size than our nearest private hire competitor. Our prices are fixed 24 hours per day, and with no meters in our cars, you will never pay more than you are quoted. Addison Lee is, on average, 33% cheaper than black taxis and with the sheer volume of vehicles we own, we have clearly become a genuine rival to the long established black cab trade.
A groundbreaking automatic allocation system allows us to offer a within 15 minute on demand pick-up time within central London, a service unparalleled within the capital.
We were the first minicab company to be certified ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and the Investors in People accreditation. We are also the founding member of the PHCA (Private Hire Car Association), which represents the private hire operators and drivers of London. With a fleet of more than 2,500 vehicles in total, we also offer extensive transport services including motorcycle and van couriers, international and overnight deliveries and a large fleet of chauffeur driven Mercedes Benz. In 2006, Addison Lee purchased Redwing, London's largest coach company, and now also offers coach travel for parties of twenty or more. As part of an ongoing commitment to the environment, Addison Lee has cut its emissions per journey by 17.6%* since 2002 and we are working on a further 6% year-on-year reduction.
