Addison Lee Business Travel Show Competition:
Overnight Stay at the Tree House Hotel, Dinner and Tour

These are the rules (the “Rules”) that govern the Addison Lee Business Travel Show competition (the “Competition”) taking place between (and including) 30 September 2021 9:30am until 1 October 2021 5:00pm (the “Competition Period”):

  1. Addison Lee is the promoter of the Competition

The promoter of the Competition is Addison Lee Limited (company number 01205530) whose registered office is at The Point, 37 North Wharf Road, London, W2 1AF (“Addison Lee”).

  1. The Competition

The title of the Competition is “Scan to win a tour of London in a fully electric Addison Lee Volkswagen ID.4 and an overnight stay for two, including dinner, at the sustainable Tree House Hotel London.”

  1. How to enter
    • The Competition will run during the Competition Period.
    • All Competition entries must be received by Addison Lee during the Competition Period. All Competition entries received outside of the Competition Period will be void and will be automatically disqualified.
    • To enter the Competition, you must scan the QR code on the relevant promotional material and submit your full name, job title and email address during the Competition Period.
    • The Competition is free to enter and no purchase is necessary to enter or win.
    • Addison Lee does not accept any responsibility for any technical or other difficulties encountered by entrants in entering the Competition or any entries that are delayed or corrupted. Addison Lee shall owe no liability to any entrant who is unable to submit their entry due to any problem or incompatibility of the entrant’s device, the failure of any communication network or any system or server of Addison Lee.
    • By submitting a Competition entry, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.

  2. Eligibility
    • The Competition is only open to all residents in the UK aged 18 years or over, except:
      • employees or subcontractors engaged by Addison Lee or any of its holding or subsidiary companies or other companies within Addison Lee’s group;
      • employees of agents, subcontractors or suppliers of Addison Lee or its holding or subsidiary companies, who are professionally connected with the Competition or its administration; or
      • members of the immediate families or households of (a) and (b) above.
    • By entering the Competition you confirm that you are eligible to do so and that there is nothing restricting you from claiming the Prize (as defined below). Addison Lee may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the Competition.
    • Addison Lee will not accept Competition entries that are:
      • automatically generated through any electronic means;
      • completed by third parties or in bulk;
      • illegible, have been altered, reconstructed, forged or tampered with;
      • are duplicate entries; or
    • There is a limit of one entry per person. Entries on behalf of another person or joint submissions will not be accepted.
    • Addison Lee reserves the right at its absolute discretion to disqualify any entrant whose conduct is dishonest, unethical or runs contrary to the spirit or the intention of the Competition.
  3. The Prize
    • The prize for winning the Competition is as follows:
      • a tour of London in an Addison Lee Volkswagen ID.4 (starting at any location within the M25 and ending at the Tree House Hotel, London, lasting 60 minutes; and
      • £500 voucher for Tree House Hotel, London (average price of dinner, bed (King Room) and breakfast for two people).

(together, the “Prize”).

  • The Prize is subject to availability. There may be restrictions on the day that you can book the Prize based upon availability at the Tree House Hotel and vehicle/driver availability. The landmarks to be viewed on the tour and the route shall be determined by Addison Lee in its absolute discretion following the confirmation of the winner’s pick-up location and may be subject to traffic conditions or last minute change
  • Addison Lee reserves the right to replace the Prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond Addison Lee’s control makes it necessary to do so.
  • The Prize is not negotiable or transferable. There is no cash alternative for the Prize.
  • The Prize may only be redeemed between 5 January 2022 and 5 January 2023
  1. Winner
    • The winner will be selected by Addison Lee at random from all valid entries. The odds of winning will depend on the number of eligible entries received.
    • The decision of Addison Lee is final and no correspondence or discussion will be entered into.
    • Addison Lee will contact the winner personally by email as soon as is reasonably practicable (which is anticipated to be on or around on 5 October 2021) after a winner has been selected in accordance with condition 1 using the email address provided with the Competition entry. The winner then must then respond to that email within one week of time of sending. Addison Lee will not amend any contact information once the Competition entry form has been submitted.
    • Addison Lee must either publish or make available information that indicates that a valid award took place. To comply with this obligation Addison Lee will send the surname and county of major prize winners and, if applicable copies of their winning entries, to anyone who emails marketing@addisonlee.com or writes to the address set out in condition 1 (enclosing a self-addressed envelope) within one month after the end of the Competition Period.
    • If you object to any or all of your name, county and winning entry being published or made available, please contact Addison Lee at marketing@addisonlee.com. In such circumstances, Addison Lee must still provide the information and winning entry to the Advertising Standards Authority on request.
    • Addison Lee may ask the winner for proof of age, residence or eligibility. Delay or failure to provide the evidence to our reasonable satisfaction may result in an entry being void or a prize being forfeited.
  2. Claiming the Prize
    • You must claim the Prize in accordance with these terms and conditions. Please refer to the details of how to claim in condition 5. If you do not claim the Prize by this date your right to claim the Prize will be forfeited.
    • The Prize may not be claimed by a third party on your behalf.
    • Addison Lee will make all reasonable efforts to contact the winner. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not respond to Addison Lee’s email notification within one week, , Addison Lee reserves the right to re-run the draw and offer the Prize to another eligible entrant.
    • Addison Lee does not accept any responsibility if you are not able to take up the Prize or if any of your preferred dates are unavailable.
  3. Limitation of liability

Insofar as is permitted by law, Addison Lee, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the Prize except where it is the direct result of the proven negligence of Addison Lee, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.

  1. Data protection and publicity

Addison Lee will only process your personal information as set out in the Addison Lee privacy notice at https://www.addisonlee.com/privacy-notice/. See also condition 6.4 and condition 6.5, with regard to the announcement of winners.

  1. General
    • If there is any reason to believe that there has been a breach of these terms and conditions, Addison Lee may, at its sole discretion, reserve the right to exclude you from participating in the Competition.
    • Addison Lee reserves the right to hold void, suspend, cancel, or amend the Prize Competition where it becomes necessary to do so.
    • These terms and conditions shall be governed by English law, and the parties submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
