Addison Lee’s courier business has been awarded a prestigious accreditation by TfL’s Fleet Operator Recognition Scheme (FORS).
Addison Lee was given a bronze award – the level at which any accredited business enters the scheme, before working towards silver and gold awards. FORS is an industry-led, voluntary accreditation scheme, developed by Transport for London, which promotes best practice for commercial vehicle operators.
The accreditation encompasses all aspects of safety, efficiency and environmental protection, and requires operators to meet strict criteria, verified by a rigorous formal company audit undertaken by an independent FORS auditor.
Kevin Valentine, Head of Addison Lee’s courier business, said: “Addison Lee is delighted that the standard of it’s courier operation has been recognised by the FORS accreditation.”
