What is a PCO licence?
A Private Hire Driver Licence is called a PCO licence. It stands
for Public Carriage Office, which is a department of
Transport for London. You need one to work as a passenger
driver in London.
You are eligible if you are older than 21, have three years of
driving experience, and have the legal right to work in the UK.
You will also need to have a medical check and a criminal
record check. Finally, you will need to prove that you have the
necessary topographical skills to be a driver in London.
Get your PCO licence
You can apply or renew your PCO licence on the Transport
for London website. Alternatively, speak to us for assistance
in applying for and getting your Private Hire Driver Licence.
HOW TO BECOME A DRIVER
Joining the team is simple, if you have your PCO licence, all you need to do is send
us the following four things:
✓ Your driving licence (paper or photocard)
✓ Your PCO licence
✓ Two forms of identification that show your current address
